Original Floor Rug
Size: 85x96 cm :Depth: 1.7cm

This Rug has been made on white primary backing cloth made with both Ak-11 loop and AK-1 cut pile tufting guns to produce variable surface dynamics to the piece. This design was adapted directly from a sketchbook page.

For this piece I used Axminster rug wool.
Colours used:
Ash / Black / Ecru / Peacock / Dark Blue / Raspberry / Peach / Carrot / Geranium / Gherkin / Dill / Yellow / Fluorescent Yellow / Brick

This top quality rug wool gives the piece an amazing feel as well as long term durability. All of my rugs are properly sealed with a coat of latex glue to fix the wool to the back of the cloth as well as another layer of rug glue fixing the final backing material which is mixed wool felt.
This rug has been professionally bound with a specialised whipping/sewing machine.

This piece comes signed by the artist on the back with a card of authenticity,
Professionally packed/rolled with bubble wrap padded paper for maximum protection whilst in transit Dispatched in 3 days.
